“Biblical Science” vs Real Science

There is no bounds to the level of dishonesty that religious leaders will use to pull the wool over their follower’s eyes. Recently, there’s been a renewed push for “Biblical Science” (yes, that is an oxymoron), where religionists advance the argument that the Bible is the most advanced science book around.
This is an astonishingly ridiculous claim, and it is even more astonishing that people can be so blinded by their faith to actually believe that kind of crap. It sure doesn’t give one confidence in the validity of those people’s faith! A clear demonstration that religionists are willing to believe anything on blind faith, no matter how far fetched, ridiculous, or untrue. No wonder so many religious leaders and televangelists are using religion to rip-off these credulous people and become rich in the process.
Here’s a nice video that contrasts “Biblical Science” with real science.

It’s kind of surprising religious leaders would make such a claim, but apparently they are not afraid of their followers picking up a Bible, reading it, and discovering just how much bull “The Church” leadership is full of.
The same paradox exists in America in the relationship between political party adherents and the Constitution; “Don’t confuse me with facts, my mind is made up”.
There’s much more than just theology that is taken on blind faith, because the alternative involves thinking for oneself.
