Hell Sylvain, for all my disagreements with you, YOU do a better job of informing people than the dumb-down media in the USA.
Since you brought it up, let's take Faux News for example, owned by News Corporation, the baby of OMFR Papist and modern equivalent of William Randolf Hurst, Rupert Murdock. It's not that the network lists to starboard as much as it might as well be the GOP's version of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting:
Whatever Kakostocracy/Socialist Establishment lie needs to be tailored as "conservative" is sent through this channel to the masses, when it can't be pushed as "liberal" via ABCNNBCBS and the Public media. Partisan politics used to mean something 20 years ago. Today, it's just a marketing tool.
Since 1992, we've entered the age of info-tainment in America, where packaging and marketing fill in for content. Like the public schools, the media exist now not to inform, but to titilate, distract, and fill the time of those with too much time on their hands.
