The dry season is finally here!

The dry season has finally arrived, just like flicking a switch! On December 25th it rained for most of the day but in the evening we could feel the wind beginning to turn northerly. We woke up on the 26th to a gorgeous blue sky and the same thing again today. The northerly winds seem to have taken hold and the sky is blue and the air dry. The Panamanian summer has arrived at last after an unusually rainy month December. It is really amazing to see how quickly it changed! So now in a month or so things will begin to turn brown and people will long for the afternoon showers to start again, which should happen around the end of April.
