Broken ground: proof!

I got proof that they have in fact broken ground! This will eventually be our driveway!

Excavation

Now things are going slow because right now it is the height of the rainy season, and that is exactly what we expected would happen.  They figured another 2 or 3 weeks of excavation work. By the time they are done, the dry season will be rolling in and they will be able to start building.

    How’s Roca Milagro coming along?

We’ve built a great team at Roca Milagro and are upping our initial share offering by 50% because of the demand for shares. It will mean that we will build all infrastructure at once, instead of in two or three stages as originally planned. We’re still waiting (not so patiently) for approvals, but hope early in 2008 to break ground. One of our partners has purchased a bulldozer, a dump truck, a trencher, etc., to help with the process. Another partner is a real estate expert from Panama City. There are several Ontario businessmen, a Canadian lawyer, and so on. It’s fun.

I’m really looking forward to seeing your place go up because it is unique. It will surely be the only place remotely like it in Panama, so I am curious about its building, what it will look like when finished etc.
