Finally broke ground!

My builder down in Panama has finally broken ground and started the excavation work for my house. Depending on the weather, this should take 2 or 3 weeks, after which construction will start in earnest! This is getting exciting.

The Golden Frogs of Panama

Over the last couple of years a deadly fungus has been spreading across Panama, killing most species of frogs, including the beloved Golden Frog. Population levels are declining fast as the fungus causes the frogs to grow more skin, causing them to suffocate as they normally breath through their skin.
