Back in Panama

I’m back in Panama again for a week. This time I’m here mostly on business. I will be signing the contract with my selected builder “CONSTRUCTORA TEMPORAL S. A.” and I also have some other legal and business related issues to take care of. The house should take less than a year to build so we’re expecting to have it completed by October 2008. Everything has taken longer than planned so far, so we’ll see how it goes. However, I do have a clause in my contract that forces the builder to pay a penalty for every day that he is late. Can’t wait to see it completed!
Even though we’re getting clsoe to the height of the rainy season, the weather has been great except for the compulsory afternoon thunderstorm. Altos del Maria is again beautifully lush and green.
