Sylvain’s Panama Adventure

HSBC in Panama is sueing a customer for having posted disparaging messages on some Panama Yahoo Groups. This is an outrageous lawsuit but according to HSBC Watch Interactive, this is far from being an isolated incident. One thing I didn’t realize is that HSBC used to be the very much maligned Household Finance and its predatory lending practices.

So buyer beware: you should think twice before becoming an HSBC customer, in any country.
