Wet Mount Baker

Well my skiing trip to Mount Baker ended up rather wet. There was a so called “Pineapple Express” storm coming through (these are masses of moist air coming from the area of Hawaii, and dumping a lot of rain on the west coast). We started skiing Saturday morning with wet snow at the bottom and powder at the top. It then progressed to rain at the bottom and sleet at the top, and by 11:30 am it was pretty much all rain. So we called it quits by noon and headed back to the cabin where we drank wine in front of the wood stove to dry out and warm up.

We also watched “Borat” that night; one of the most stupid and obnoxious movies I’ve ever seen.
