Design work starting in Panama

We finally got the contract and legal stuff resolved with Delfin (our architect) and we have wired him the first payment this morning. We can now start in earnest on designing our new tropical house. We have already sent Delfin a bunch of changes to be applied to his preliminary design. We also sent him a bunch of pictures I scanned from books and magazines, showing some of the things we like. It’s the first time we work with an architect as we designed the two houses we have built before ourselves. This is pretty exciting stuff and I’m looking forward to what will come out of it.
On a different topic, I have installed a new plug-in on my blog that allows me to create “series” of related posts. This post is part of the “Building in Panama” series. You can see links at the bottom of these “series” posts that point to the next and previous posts as applicable. If you open the post itself, you will also see a chronological list of all the posts in the series. This is all possible thanks to the free “In-Series” plug-in for WordPress.
