Sylvain’s Panama Adventure

It’s no secret that Im pretty upset about governments and corporations trying to suppress science for political, religious, or monetary reasons. The folks who do this put their own self interests or beliefs ahead of the search for knowledge and often put some people if not humanity at risk in the process.

The Union of Concerned Scientists has just put out a very extensive chronology of all the known examples of political interference in science. There is a huge amount of information here, but its a real eye-opener. Make sure you check your blood pressure before reading this!
