Rio Maria

The Rio Maria is the river that runs trough the valley at Altos del Maria, and passes less then 300 feet away from our lot. It’s a beautiful river with countless waterfalls and swimming holes. It remains beautiful even during the dry season. Here is a picture of a waterfall formed by a stream that joins the Rio Maria. To give you an idea of the scale, look for my wife standing in the middle of the picture! I can’t wait to see this again during the wet season.
