Are you hungry? Or just angry?

The great wisdom of the American Government and its ability to grasp science will never seize to amaze me.
This one just blows them all away, just like when they said that cigarettes did not cause cancer, that sugar is not detrimental to good health, or that global warming does not exist, they are using a [...]

New blog to discuss global warming

After some of the events of this week I was inspired to do my part to inform people on the seriousness of Global Warming and the science behind it, and also to help debunk the denial machine.

Biofuels Discovery Promises to End Dependence on Natural Gas

Researchers at the University of Minnesota have developed a new, carbon-neutral way to convert vegetable-based fuels to syngas, a breakthrough that could allow producers to power hydrogen fuel cells or create a replacement for America’s dwindling supplies of natural gas, all without relying on fossil fuels. Panama to get a seat on the UN Security Council?

Looks like the contest between Venezuela and Guatemala for the seat could not be resolved, so both countries have agreed to support Panama for the seat. This would raise Panama’s profile considerably!
Here’s a BBC article with more details.
