Sony just announced that it will release its new line of DSLRs based on the Minolta lens mount under the Alpha brand name. The new Carl Zeiss Planar T* lenses in Nikon mount are now available for sale directly from Zeiss. Zeiss is famous for its world class optics and I’m really looking forward to the reviews of these babies. They are manual focus only, but should have outstanding build and image quality.
